πŸ—“οΈ Week 01 - Introduction, Course Logistics & R Programming

2023/24 Winter Term

Author

Welcome to the very first week of this course!

This week, as you can imagine, in the lecture, we will cover what you can expect to learn from this course as well as the course logistics: all you need to know about the structure of the lectures, classes, assessments, and how we will interact throughout this course.

In addition to this, we will kick off the course with labs that will help you recap important R/R Studio and tidyverse concepts (this course heavily relies on R/tidyverse, so let us know if you find any of the concepts you encounter on Monday confusing!). To make the most of the Monday labs, you’ll need R and an IDE suitable for R (e.g. R Studio) installed: to find out how to install R/R Studio, please have a look at section 1 of the πŸ“‹ Getting Ready page.
