πŸ—“οΈ Week 11 - Text Mining/Network Analysis

Theme: Applications

Author

It’s our final lecture of the term! Traditionally, we use this lecture to look at a topic you want to learn more about and use in your final project. Based on the feedback I received from you over the past few weeks, I will focus on text mining - mainly using spaCy and huggingface to do text mining.

If you have any specific requests, say you want me to talk about network analysis (with networkx library), more on merging datasets, or anything else, please let me know by Wednesday. I will try to incorporate it into the lecture.

🎯 Learning Objectives

  • the basics of text mining with spaCy
  • using pre-trained ML models for text mining using spaCy and huggingface

πŸ“š PREPARATION

There is no preparation needed for this week. I will do some live coding and share the notebook with you afterward.
