In the first half of the lecture, I will cover the course logistics: all you need to know about the structure of the lectures, classes, assessments, how we will interact throughout this course and our teaching philosophy. I will also tell you about the πŸ€– Generative AI policy policy of this course and I will invite you to sign up for the GENIAL project (sign-up link: here).

In the second half of the lecture, you read about the Python packages we will be exploring throughout this course and I will briefly introduce the Terminal (command prompt) and why it is helpful for data scientists.
