Week 06 is Reading Week. There will be no formal lecture or class this week, but we will be hosting several support sessions. You can find the schedule below.

Monday’s Python & Pandas recap

Description: This session will be a recap of Python and Pandas. I will create a Jupyter Notebook and go through some of the basics of Python, emphasising how to work with lists, dictionaries and how to read/write files. We will also cover the basics of Pandas, including how to read CSV/JSON files as DataFrames, how to create DataFrames from scratch, and how to filter and manipulate DataFrames.
Material: I will add everything to the lse-ds105/ds105a-2024 repository. You should be able to find the Jupyter Notebook in the weeks/W06-recap folder after the session.
