Welcome to Week 11 of DS202! It is the final week of this course.

In the labs, you will learn how to perform Quantitative Text Analysis (text mining) using R. Summative 03 is heavily based on this lab.

In the lecture at the end of the week, we will receive two guests who will talk about applications of Data Science and Machine Learning to text and social media data:

• “What do emojis in Twitter bios reveal about people’s political inclinations? 🤓” Sara Luxmoore, MSc in Applied Social Data Science (LSE)
• “Is rap still tough? Masculinity dynamics in American rap” by Anton Boychenko, MSc in Applied Social Data Science (LSE)
