In the first half of the lecture, I will cover the course logistics: all you need to know about the structure of the lectures, classes, assessments, how we will interact throughout this course, and our teaching philosophy. I will also tell you about the πŸ€– Generative AI policy policy of this course, and I will tell you about your role in the GENIAL project.

In the second half of the lecture, you read about the Python packages we will explore throughout this course, and you will finally understand what you did in the first lab before the lecture. I will tell you what the Terminal is and why it is so essential for data scientists.
